From Extensions to Crown Hair Couture
In 2015, we began as Straight To Hairven a specialist in premium hair extensions. Our focus was clear: to design and source top-quality hair extensions, supplying salons across Australia with products we were proud to stand behind.
Our passion was simple: to help people feel confident through beautiful hair. But one small sample changed everything. A topper, curious, we held onto it, not yet knowing how significant it would become. The turning point came when a stylist from a salon we supplied reached out. She had a client with trichotillomania, and she wanted to know if we had anything suitable for her hair loss.
We sent the topper and shortly after, we received a heartfelt message from Jess — the client. She told us how the topper had changed her life. Once hiding at the back of her university lectures, she now walked in confidently, sitting proudly at the front of the room.
Her words were powerful, unforgettable — and they marked the beginning of a new mission. From that moment, our purpose evolved — and Crown Hair Couture was born to address a growing, unmet need in the community: support for those experiencing hair loss due to medical or personal reasons.
Today, we specialise in alternative hair solutions for women experiencing hair loss from cancer, alopecia, hormonal changes, trauma, and more. What began as a business rooted in beauty has grown into something deeper: a purpose-driven space offering guidance, compassion, and dignity to those navigating the emotional journey of hair loss.
